The Academic Hall of Fame at Horizon Science Academy of Lorain honors exceptional Alumni who have made meaningful contributions to our school, their profession, and the broader community—while exemplifying our core values: Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Courage, Curiosity, and Effort.
These inductees serve as role models for current students, alumni, and the entire Horizon community.
Honorees are recognized each May during our annual commencement ceremony. A commemorative inscription board featuring all recipients is proudly displayed in the High School’s Academic Hall of Fame area as a lasting tribute to their achievements.

A five-member selection committee—composed of the Principal, Assistant Principals of School Culture and Academics, College Counselor, and a High School Teacher—reviews nominations annually. Inductees are chosen based on a rubric and supporting data to ensure fairness and excellence in recognition.
2025 Inductees
Timothy earned the prestigious title of Valedictorian for the Horizon Science Academy of Lorain Class of 2025, graduating with an astounding 4.28 GPA. A standout scholar, Timothy not only earned his high school diploma but also completed two associate degrees from Lorain County Community College—all before walking across the high school stage.
As one of the first alumni to be inducted twice into the Academic Hall of Fame, Timothy exemplifies excellence, perseverance, and passion. He is currently pursuing a degree in Theatre at Baldwin Wallace University, following his dream in the performing arts. A proud Lorain native, Timothy remains deeply rooted in his community, giving back through active service in his church and inspiring others to pursue their goals with both heart and discipline.
