Valedictorian
Lincoln (Kennedy) Short, a proud Lorain native, has continued to excel beyond Horizon Science Academy of Lorain. While pursuing a degree at Cleveland State University, Lincoln has earned the CSU Merit Scholarship each year since enrollment, a recognition of academic excellence and dedication.
Alongside their studies, Lincoln has served as a Resident Assistant at CSU and worked with Downtown Cleveland Inc., gaining meaningful experience in nonprofit work. Committed to community and civic engagement, Lincoln also volunteers with the Lorain County Democratic Party, supporting local candidates and encouraging participation in the democratic process.
As an Academic Hall of Fame inductee, Lincoln embodies leadership, service, and perseverance—qualities that continue to inspire current and future Cyclones.
