Mr. Brooks

Mr. Brooks is excited to begin another great school year at Horizon Science Academy Lorain, where this will be his second year. Although this is his second year at Horizon, he has proudly served in education for 12 years.

Mr. Brooks holds an Associate’s Degree in Theology, and is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people. Outside of education, he is the proud father of two—a 19-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. Mr. Brooks also serves as the Director and Founder of Lorain Stop the Violence and as a Pastor. Each of these roles has strengthened his commitment to youth, family, faith, and the community.

Mr. Brooks believes that every interaction we have with others is an opportunity to make a difference. His goal is to create an environment where students feel supported, valued, encouraged, and empowered to become the best versions of themselves.
