Mr. Simmons

Mr. Simmons is a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and dedicated educator with 16 years of teaching experience. He holds a B.S. in Education and a B.A. in History from Butler University, graduating in 2003. For the past 8 years, he has been an integral part of the Horizon Science Academy of Lorain community, where he teaches high school social studies.

Outside the classroom, Mr. Simmons serves as a CYSP mentor and coaches volleyball. He’s been happily married to his wife, Nikki, for 22 years and is a proud father of five and grandfather of one. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, camping, and grilling out with family and friends.
