Mrs. Below
Mrs. Below is the fourth-grade ELA teacher. This is her third year in this position. This is her 11th year at Horizon Science Academy. Before she started working in 4th grade, she worked as an Intervention Specialist and a Title Reading teacher for middle school and 9th grade. She has worked for many years as a teacher in several different schools. She's taught grades 1-6 in other schools.
She's been married for over 30 years and has two adult children. She has a dog and 3 cats. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing board games, swimming, and traveling with family and friends. She enjoys teaching at Horizon, meeting new students each year, and building connections with them throughout the year.
