Vex IQ Robotics Tournament Success

On Friday, January 19th, our two robotics teams RoboCyclones Jr. and RoboCyclones Sr., competed in the Vex IQ Competition at Kalahari in Sandusky, Ohio. Our teams did a great job passing the robot inspection and competing in eightqualifying matches. Our teams ranked 11th and 15th out of 38 teams after the qualifying matches, and were able to make it to the finals. As a finalist, they competed as an ally with Horizon Cleveland Middle School and Horizon Youngstown against other alliances, and unfortunately came up short in the final match. Overall, it was a great tournament and the students look forward to having another chance at the next competition in two weeks. We would like to thank our Principal’s, Mr.Sum andMr.Bendik for their support during the tournament.
Please congratulate our students as you see them this week.
