HSA Students Compete at Spelling Bee

On Thursday, November 1st., middle school & upper elementary students competed in a spelling bee at HSA. Two competitions were held, 6-8 Division, and 3-5 Division. Students earned the chance to compete by placing first or second in bees held in their ELA classrooms. The top three contestants will go to Chicago on Friday, November 16th to compete in the Concept School Spelling Bee.  Representing HSA Lorain in the 6-8 Division are 1st place winner, Yadier Perez (6th grade), and 2nd place winner, Annmarie Endrai (7th grade).  Chloe Farley (7th grade), who placed 3rd, will go as our alternate.  Representing HSA Lorain in the 3-5 Division are 1st place winner, Destiny Hogan (5th grade) and 2nd place winner, Dayvion Worthy (4th grade).  Aiyana Todd (3rd Grade) who placed 3rd, will travel to Chicago as our alternate. We are looking forward to one of our champions bringing home a trophy!
