HSA Student Places in Top Three Out of 2,000 Students

A fourth grade student named Lilianna V. placed third out of nearly 2,000 students who participated in the 2016 Midwest Charter Schools Art Contest.

Students from all over the Midwest- Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin shared their self-portraits of where they see themselves in the future. Fortunately, Lilianna’s hard work and passion for art paid off. Her portrait drew the attention of the hardworking people of the National Charter Schools Institute, whose “Mission is to transform public education and power performance, productivity and accountability breakthroughs that help people win for kids.” We are very proud of Lilianna and know she is going to do great things in the future.
