Halftime Hysteria with Mini-Hype Squad Performance

The mini-hype squad is a group of 50 Kindergarten-5th grade students. As part of a team fundraiser they get to participate in a week of practices along the Middle/High School Hype Squad and perform at a high school game. Each practice consisted of a warm-up, team bonding, and practice.  Over the course of the camp students learned six cheers to perform on the sidelines, a one minute chant done between quarters, and a full halftime routine that was on full display for the crowd, sending everyone into hysteria for all to enjoy.  Students worked hard at learning steps, but in the process made bonds with students across the school, gained confidence in themselves, and got to perform in front of a large crowd of screaming fans.
